What we collect
We collect your email address when you create an account. We store the media files and text you upload, along with your vocabulary progress and any flashcard data you create.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the Ganula service — transcribing your media, tracking your vocabulary, and syncing your Anki cards. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Storage and security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your data as long as your account is active.
Third-party services
Ganula uses Supabase for database and file storage, and may use AI transcription services to process audio. Uploaded files are processed solely for transcription and are not retained by third-party providers beyond the transcription request.
Your rights
You may export or delete your data at any time from Settings. To request full account deletion, email support@ganula.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days.
GDPR / CCPA
If you are in the EU or California, you have additional rights including the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. Contact us at support@ganula.com to exercise these rights.
